Subject: Siong-im Chip package standing order
Dear Ms. Go:
Last November when we visited Rev. 張 office at 教會公報社, we
requested to keep us on the standing order for future 頌音集 (Siong-
im Chip). Subsequently, we received two shipments, Vol. 5/6 and Vol.
7/8. Because I resigned from choir director position recently, I
would request cancellation of this standing order. Thank you for
your immediate attention.
Recently, our friends, Dr. and Mrs. 謝伯芳長老 went back to
Taiwan and visited you while they were in 臺南 (Tai-lam). They told
us that they had a nice conversation with you regarding Taigi (Lo-ma
ji). I asked them to check if there is any document about the late
Rev. Hugh Macmillan. They mentioned that you are preparing to re-
publish his work on Taiwanese hymns. Would you please let us know
when this book will become available. We also have a copy of his
book "Then Till Now in Formosa" written in English. If there is
anyone interested in translate this into Taigi, we will be happy to
provide it.
We are leaving for Taiwan next Tuesday to cast our votes for future
president. As our stay in Taiwan is very short, we are not able to
go down to 臺南 to visit you. We pray that God look over our home
country and to elect Taiwanese president.
