The first Taiwanese Language Medical textbook was written in TOJ(POJ) in 1917.
The first Taiwanese Language newspaper was published using TOJ in 1885, Tainan,
Taiwan, and lasting for some 80 years until the KMT authority banned it's use in
1960's!
The Newyork Times was first published in 1950's in US.
The first Taiwanese Language Bible, the first Taiwanese Language Dictionary was
were all written in TOJ some 120 &150 years ago respectively.
